David has a broad civil practice across the range of Chambers' areas of work, acting in both an advisory and representative capacity.  He is available to represent both Claimants and Defendants/Respondents. 

David became a tenant after successful completion of pupillage in Chambers, during which he was pupil to Richard Wilkinson, Andrew O'Connor and Keith Morton.

Other Information

Before coming to the Bar, David served a Short Service Limited Commission with the British Army in Germany.

Whilst at the University of Sheffield he undertook a sabbatical after being elected President of the Union of Students. In this role he was Chair of the Union's Trustees and a Company Director responsible for a turnover of over £10m and 800 employees.  He also sat on the University's governing body.
