James' practice is predominantly concerned with personal injury
litigation and costs. He has been recognised by both Chambers &
Partners and the Legal 500 as a Leading Junior in each field for
many years. Respected by both those acting for Claimants and for
insurers, he receives instructions regularly from leading firms
such as Irwin Mitchell, Leigh Day & Co. and Kennedys. James
also has experience of all aspects of costs. He appeared in the
Privy Council in a case to consider the use of CFAs in that arena
and also assisted a leading legal expenses insurer in drafting
submissions to Lord Justice Jackson's review of civil costs.
