Sian is establishing a broad civil practice across the range of Chambers' areas of practice, acting in both an advisory and representative capacity. 

Sian has appeared in a wide range of hearings, for both Claimants and Defendants/Respondents, in the County Court, Employment Tribunal and Coroners Court, including small claims and fast track trials, appeals, applications, Case Management Conferences/Directions and Pre-Hearing Reviews.

Prior to commencing pupillage, Sian spent 2 years working at a city-based London solicitors' firm as a fee-earner in the Employment, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation departments.  She acted for employees, a large trade union and employers in all areas of employment law.  Sian also acted for Claimants and Defendants in claims involving personal injuries, credit hire, professional negligence, freezing injunctions, tort and contractual disputes.

Sian has previously been instructed on behalf of Transport for London in the Inquest into the London Bombings of 7 July 2005.  She has also acted on behalf of a range of interested persons in other Inquests arising out of fatal road traffic accidents and accidents at work.
