Amputee awarded £1.3m

Richard Wilkinson represented a 46 year old below knee amputee who recovered damages of £1.3m in a settlement of claim arising from a motorcycle accident in which he had sustained multiple injuries. The Claimant had been an enthusiastic sportsman and claims were pursued for the specialist water activity and cycling limbs he had purchased post-accident. Swift v Harris.
