David Barr accepts brief to be first junior counsel to the public inquiry into the culture, practices and ethics of the press

The Rt Hon Lord Justice Sir Brian Leveson has been appointed as chairman of the statutory inquiry into the culture, practices and ethics of the press in the light of the phone hacking scandal.  David Barr, who has previous experience in both the Baha Mousa and Ladbroke Grove public inquiries, will act as first junior counsel to this major new public inquiry.  Follow the link to read the Prime Minister's statement announcing the inquiry:
