Deputy District Judge Appointments for TGC

Chambers is pleased to announce that Alastair McFarlane and Sacha Ackland have been appointed as Deputy District Judges following their success in the recent selection exercise carried out by the Judicial Appointments Commission. Both have been appointed by the Lord Chancellor to the South Eastern Circuit and will sit part-time whilst continuing their careers at the Bar.

Since being called to the Bar in 1985, Alastair McFarlane has developed an extensive practice in personal injury and healthcare regulation, sitting frequently as a Legal Assessor for regulatory bodies.

Sacha Ackland was called to the Bar in 1998 and she specialises in personal injury cases of all values, with particular expertise in employers' liability and insurance fraud.
