Employment Appeal Tribunal dismisses appeal against award of damages of £17,000

Keith Morton QC appeared for the Ministry of Defence in DeBique v Ministry of Defence, a long running indirect race and sex discrimination claim in which the Claimant sought damages of £1.1 million but recovered £17,000. Her appeal against that award was dismissed by the EAT (Underhill J, President presiding) on 15 September 2011
