Report into Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust Published

The report of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Inquiry has been published. The Inquiry investigated the care provided by the Trust between January 2005 - March 2009 and oral evidence was heard from 113 witnesses. The findings of the Chairman of the Inquiry into the deficiencies of care have been described in the media as one of the most serious scandals in the history of the National Health Service. Keith Morton, Benjamin Hay and Joanna Hughes were Counsel to the Inquiry
