Members of Chambers are engaged in all aspects of health and
safety law and enforcement, for defendants, those at risk of
prosecution, prosecuting authorities and those seeking advice.
We regularly advise and represent individuals, corporations,
government and other public and charitable bodies in relation to
prosecutions, enforcement proceedings (such as Improvement Notices,
Prohibition Notices and Crown Censures) and all aspects of
compliance and policy. Some members of Chambers have particular
expertise in representing clients at interviews under caution.

Cotswold Geotechnical (Holdings) Ltd (first prosecution under the
Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007), R v

leading cases on sentencing), R v Southampton University Hospital
Trust (first prosecution of a hospital under health and safety
legislation arising out of the standard of clinical care and in the
